The Royals will have a trio of affiliates participating in playoff action starting tomorrow night.
The Northwest Arkansas Naturals won the Texas League North Division in the second half and will begin a best-of-five series tomorrow against the Cardinals’ AA affiliate in Springfield.
The Wilmington Blue Rocks went 46-24 to win the Carolina League’s Northern Division in the second half. They will start a best-of-five series against Lynchburg tomorrow.
Burlington (Ia.) is a wild-card entry in the Midwest League. The Bees will start their title defense at home against Kane County on Wednesday.
